Chris W says; Hi Clive & team. Received the car this afternoon, would just like to say thank you for making moving a car so simple. Thanks again, Chris.
Tell us about the car and where you want it to go...
If the car is classed as UNDRIVABLE, because we use car transporters NOT tow trucks, the car has to be complete, have air in the tyres, the wheels have to turn, the car has to be able to be steered, there has to be a drivers seat, and there has to be at least a handbrake.
Have enough petrol in your vehicle for it to be driven on and off the truck.
Drivable means the vehicle can be driven onto the transporter under it's own power.
If the vehicle ride height is under 100mm we may not be able to transport it.
If the vehicle is changing ownership, remember to arrange appropriate documentation.
Make sure you tie the key to the vehicle. (Applies to Motorbikes and Quads)
If there is more than one key, either have one posted to the new address or tie the two together. Don't leave the spare key on its own in the vehicle.
Vehicles are transported door to door, which are depot to depot.
People movers and 4 wheel drive vehicles are considered as vans.
If the car is an oversized car, e.g. large American cars from the 1960s, you will need a special quote.
For payment for the transportation, once we have all the details for the job, we send you an email with our bank account details and a reference number so as you can deposit the funds directly into our bank account with the reference number.
When you push the "Place Booking" button you are making a booking and therefore commiting to paying for this transportation.
If you are not sure, ask!
